What is your major?
I am a Mathematics major (Applied Math Concentration)
What inspired you to minor in anthropology? Do you have a specific area of interest?
I decided to minor in Anthropology after taking a few of the classes offered. I took Stone Age Art and Bioarchaeology my freshman year and really enjoyed the classes!
Do you have any favorite classes?
My favorite classes I took in Anthropology have been Bioarchaeology and Histories of Food Inequality. I think I learned a lot from both classes, and I always recommend Bioarchaeology to my friends during pre-enroll.
Do you have any advice for students considering a minor in anthropology?
My advice for students considering a minor in Anthropology would be: do it! All of the Anthropology classes I’ve taken have been among my favorite classes at Cornell.
What do you think you'll miss most about Cornell/Ithaca after graduation?
I think I’ll miss the experiences I’ve gotten through taking classes at Cornell. I’ve been able to dig up 19th century shoes and coins and make art with plants because of the classes I’ve taken, and I don’t know when I’ll have those opportunities again.
