- José Armando Fernández Guerrero ’18, double major in and Linguistics, is part of a team awarded an Engaged Opportunity Grant. Their project is "Preserving the Ch'ol Language: Creating language resources to empower the Ch’ol-speaking community." In addition, José was selected by the Linguistic Society of America to receive a Diversity Travel Award to attend the Annual Meeting in Salt Lake City.
