Pathways in Anthropology Introduced

is the study of human races, origins, societies, and cultures.  At Cornell, anthropology majors are preparing for many professions.  Majors design their own program of study in consultation with their advisor.  The major and minor in can take you down myriad pathways, some planned, others surprising.  The following are some examples of potential pathways through the major:​

  • Health and Medicine
  • Business and Economy
  • Law and Politics
  • Environment
  • Activism and Social Justice
  • Heritage

Or, strike out on your own path.  When you major in anthropology, you will learn the skills needed to blaze your own trails.
