Overview
Chaoyu is a PhD candidate in socio-cultural anthropology. His research interests include the politics of emotion, religion and identity, race and ethnicity, and diaspora and multiculturalism.
Chaoyu holds a BA in Hindi from Peking University and an MA in Social Sciences from the University of Chicago.
